Custom Error Pages in Cloud Hosting
You can set up personalized error pages for any of your sites easily when you use any of our Linux cloud hosting. This could be done via the Hosted Domains section of the Hepsia CP, provided with all accounts and once you go there, you could set your personalized pages independently for any domain or subdomain. You must upload the files to your account ahead of time and enter the links to them through the process. This function may be de-activated whenever you want and the options you will be able to pick from are a conventional page from our system or a default Apache server page. Custom made error pages could be set with an .htaccess file as well. The file should be put into the domain or subdomain folder and it must contain some system code and links to the pages. If you are not tech-savvy, you may copy the whole content needed for the file from our Help section.
Custom Error Pages in Semi-dedicated Servers
Adding your personal pages for any of the four error types to any site hosted from a semi-dedicated server account with us will be really easy and shall not take more than several mouse clicks. When you upload the files to your account, you can check out the Hosted Domains section of your Hepsia CP and edit each of the domains and subdomains listed there using an intuitive interface with drop-down navigation. You could select what page should show up for every error type. The options are a default Apache server page or a page from our system, and custom pages. In case you select the abovementioned option, you have to input the link to each page inside your account, then save the change. The link or the type of page which appears in case a user encounters an error can be modified anytime. If you're more experienced, you can use an .htaccess file so as to set personalized error pages too, instead of using our integrated generator software instrument, and if you choose this option, the file needs to be positioned in the root directory of a particular domain or subdomain.
